We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior WordPress and Shopify Developer to join our Agencies growing remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating custom solutions for both WordPress and Shopify platforms, including custom theme development, plugin development, and Shopify app integrations. You will work closely with our designer and management team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure web solutions for a variety of clients, particularly in the e-commerce, saas and real estate industries.

– WordPress Development:
– Build custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client needs.
– Ensure code is clean, efficient, and well-documented.
– Optimize website performance, including page load speeds and SEO-friendly structures.
– Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement responsive, user-friendly websites.
– Translate Figma designs into high-performance, responsive web pages on WordPress (using Elementor, HTML, CSS, JS) and/or Shopify (using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JS).
– Develop, customize, and modify themes and plugins/apps for WordPress and/or Shopify platforms.
– Integrate third-party APIs and resolve any conflicts that arise, adhering to the best coding practices.
– Test features and designs for functionality and fidelity to design specifications.
– Research and suggest the best tools, plugins, third-party software, APIs, and approaches for achieving desired features.
– Set up, migrate, and manage multiple websites on WordPress and/or Shopify using appropriate web host management tools and platforms.
– Implement security measures, including automatic backups and malware scans, and follow contingency protocols.
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues on WordPress and/or Shopify sites, providing ongoing client support.
– Maintain regular communication with project managers and team members to update on progress and deliver work in a timely manner.

– Shopify Development:
– Develop custom Shopify themes, apps, and extensions.
– Integrate third-party APIs and external services with Shopify stores.
– Customize Shopify’s Liquid template language to meet specific client needs.
– Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Shopify functionality and integrations.

– Custom Web Solutions:
– Develop and implement custom web solutions based on client requirements and business goals.
– Work with various APIs, including marketing, payment gateways, and third-party integrations.
– Ensure secure, scalable, and future-proof web solutions.

– **Marketing Automation & Tracking:**
– Implement and configure marketing automation tools, such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign etc.
– Set up and manage data and pixel tracking (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.) for tracking conversions and user behavior.
– Optimize integrations for maximum marketing effectiveness.

– AWS Ecosystem (Beneficial):
– Work with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) to host and manage specific websites.

– Real Estate/Rental Industry Experience (Beneficial):
– Apply prior knowledge and experience in building websites or applications for the real estate or rental industry.
– Implement features like property listings, booking systems, or MLS integrations, as needed.

– 5+ years of experience with WordPress and Shopify development.
– Proven track record of building and deploying custom WordPress themes and plugins.
⁃ Good knowledge of English (all project specifications, feedback, and designs will be in English).
– Experience developing custom Shopify themes, apps, and integrations using Shopify’s Liquid, APIs, and the Admin API.
– Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
– Experience working with APIs and webhooks for third-party integrations.
– Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront) is beneficial but not required.
– Understanding of marketing automation tools, tracking pixels (e.g., Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics), and data integrations.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Experience in the real estate and/or rental space is a plus.
⁃ Webflow experience is a bonus

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience working with Git or other version control systems.
– Familiarity with tools like WP CLI, Composer, and Node.js for development.
⁃ Experience working in notion or clickup management tools.
